Since childhood, owner, Vanessa Trout was driven by the perfect bite. That mission lead her on a vast & exciting food & wine industry career that took her around the world & to unforgettable people. From Chicago sous chef at Les Nomades and Napa Valley personal chef, to winery marketing & sales with Swanson, Turley Wine Cellars & Henry Wine Group; New Zealand wine ambassador with Craggy Range Winery; Master of Wine student; Chicago distributor marketing & purchasing manager at Cream Wine Company; major wine region visits, harvest & kitchen help at Domaine de Villaine in Bouzeron, France, to settling in Colorado. Eating healthy & living consciously growing up gave her an appreciation for nature and shaped her life choices. Now, through the store, tastings & education, Trout can offer delicious & memorable nourishment and beguiling beverages that are better on consumers, animals and the lands.
